Samaritan's Purse launches Coming Together For Good

This is an exciting time for us here at Samaritan's Purse! In recent months, we have been rediscovering who we are and how that impacts what we do in the UK and overseas. During this period, we have also rekindled our passion for being part of God's mission in the world.

In order to express this thought clearly and let you explore all the ways that you can be involved, we have come up with something called Coming Together For Good . This is our way of saying what we are about - people across the UK joining with Samaritan's Purse to fill shoe boxes, Turn on the Tap, help out on the ground – demonstrating the gospel in whatever way we can. It's that time of year again...

Last year, Operation Christmas Child sent a remarkable 1.3m shoe boxes to children in Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

That was the result of the kindness of more than 1.3m people who packed shoe boxes and the hard work of several thousand volunteers who helped these shoe boxes make the journey from the UK to their destinations in 13 different countries.

This year, we’ve set our sights on ensuring that even more children in need receive a gift of love this Christmas.

Will you join with us to bring a smile on the face of a child this Christmas? Whether you are looking for instructions on how to pack your shoe, want to find out where you can drop off your shoe box or want to know where shoe boxes are sent to – we have all the answers to your questions.
